Balesin Island: A Glimpse of Paradise

Today’s post is about D’s recent trip with friends to Balesin Island, Philippines.

If you have not heard of it, Balesin Island is a private paradise located off the eastern coast of Luzon. It is about 60 kilometers from Manila. It is, however, accessible only to members and their guests. It has themed villages inspired by destinations like Bali, Mykonos, and St. Tropez.

D spent a few quiet days there, simply enjoying nature and strolling along empty beaches.

One incredible moment he caught on video was a bolt of lightning striking the sea while he was at the beach.
