2018 Reading Challenge

Fully Booked
I love this bookstore

Today calls for a celebration – I finished reading my 95th book for the year! This year’s goal was 20 more books from last year’s 75. I admit the last five books I read over the last couple of days. I may have dried my eyes on the last three.

Speaking of last books, I read them in Fully Booked at BGC’s High Street. I just discovered this reader’s heaven while waiting for a friend. They have several floors catering to different types of read – fiction, language, cookery, travel, young adult, leadership, etc. My last few books were on poetry. Can I just rave about this awesome poetry book by R.H. Sin entitled Planting Gardens in Graves. It is composed of several poems about a broken heart, moving on, being strong and not looking back. I suck at making poets but I do love reading them. This book was just so inspiring and heartwarming. Most of us have gone through the pain of a broken heart or know someone who had been so this book can be quite relatable. I’m so glad I was able to read it.
