Well, bummer, I missed the pink supermoon.l last night. Just heard about it from the news at the background. Said to be the biggest full moon of 2020 . Should’ve hung out at the yard with Meow and Pedro last night – maybe that’s why Meow was noisier than usual.
So D and I checked it out tonight and there it was – mesmerizing, mysterious. I could stare at it for some time – it’s calling to me. D and I struggled to capture its beauty with our smart phones. I know this photo doesn’t do it justice but I’d like to go back to this months or years from now and remember this night: April 2020, despite being on enhanced quarantine, the simple beauty of the moon made us forget feelings of uncertainty, separation, fear, and sadness. Thank you, Lord, for this reminder.

Very vivid!!

It was overcast here last night so I didn’t get to see it either. I really like your reminders to “stop and smell the roses” so to speak. We do have to take the time to gaze up at the moon and stars and remember all that is good, all that is beautiful and wondrous in life.
