Throwback Travels: Siem Reap

Time for some throwback travel photos.

These were taken at Siem Reap, back in 2013. Went there with family friends after we got really good deals from CebuPacific Air. It was an express trip, if my memory serves me right we were there for 3 days and 3 nights. We arrived at around 2 in the morning, took a 2 day private tour of temples, and left on our 3rd night. It was a whirlwind of a trip, and I was amazed by the grandeur of the temples, the architectural intricacies, the simplicity and friendliness of the locals, and I particularly enjoyed the Khmer food at the night market. I loved that trip so much that booked my parents a trip a few months after. I planned to go back and do a cycling tour but haven’t gotten to it yet.
