Night Flights

Sunset and the horizon
Sunset and the horizon

This week just flew by and I’m so looking forward to the long weekend. Though it’s been busier than usual at work (from home) I feel like I’ve managed to do a lot of non-work stuff like finally completing my painting by numbers artwork, getting some minutes of exercises done in the morning and in the afternoon, and catching up on my Korean TV shows.

My mind is getting antsy, though. For the last two nights I dreamt I was traveling. The other night it was a trip to Madrid – I boarded off a bus coming from the airport to my hotel, and in my dream I was pressuring D to hurry because we had to cover as much ground before we head off to Switzerland. And then last night my dream was we were aboard Korean Air en route to Seoul and I was annoyed because even though the rest of the seats of the plane were empty, we had to be seated right next to the four other passengers. And then before takeoff I was pinching myself in disbelief that I was actually one of the first people in Metro Manila to board a commercial flight to Seoul after the lockdown.

And then of course I woke up.

What was my mind telling me, I wonder. Could it be too much Korean drama that I’ve been binge watching or my anxiousness to get out of my house.

Whatever it is, I’m glad I went to Spain and Korea, even only in my dreams. I needed that!

      1. I heard about Neighbors when I lived in Melbourne for a few months but didnt get the chance to see any of it. I’m pretty hooked on my Korean TV now, a good escape at times especially these days we can’t go out
