Making Each Day Count

“What was the last thing (aside from essentials) that you saved up for?”

This was the question on my A Sentence A Day diary – and my answer year on year has always been the same: plane tickets!

Since this year is very different, and technically my expenses for the plane tickets have been reimbursed I’d say the next biggest purchase that I have made was from Amazon: a Kindle Paperwhite E-Reader.

No I still prefer reading from an actual book. But since I’m not able to go to any bookshop these days (and I think for the longer haul), I’m quite happy to settle with my new gadget.

Luckily I can still take part of the GoodReads 2020 reading challenge. I locked in a realistic number this time though. Ladies and gents, My goal this year is to read at least 30 books.

I hope I can stick to this!
