5 Things: Summer

Summer’s gone and we’re now in monsoon season here in the Philippines, but it still feels like summer when it is not raining. So, here I am writing about the 5 things I love about Summer. But before anything else, thank you Salted Caramel, for this week’s 5 Things prompt.

1. The beach, of course

    I loved your 5 things.
What is halo holo? It looks like ice cream. Do tell us more about it.

Thanks DrTanya! In english Halo Halo translates to Mix Mix. It’s made if a mix of sweet things like jelly, tapioca, red beans, yam, nata de coco, coconut shavings, banana dipped in sugar, and then topped with shaved ice, milk, leche flan and ice cream. When we eat it we mix everything together😋

Love mango! Mango anything please! Great 5 things but here in Florida, we have to hike anytime other than summer. It’s too hot and the bugs will eat you alive. 😉

Mangoes are heavensent! Hiking here needs to be kicked off before sunrise though. Not much bugs here but the heat and humidity requires hikers to bring at least 2 shirts to keep dry.
