Keeping Calm

My fear is to be too caught up on the daily grind that I will forget to give equal focus on the more important things in life. Time is not a luxury we have, yet admittedly the last few weeks flew by like a blur and then I’d realize another month’s gone by when I’ve been stuck on work-mode.

So any chance I get to pause and focus on Now, I’d desperately do so. I do this through coloring – be it my Paint By Numbers sets, or the coloring book my friend Ira gave me. I had such joy having rediscovered it, gathering dust on the shelves of our home office. I was glad there are still a lot of pages for me to color.

How about you? How do you keep calm?

  1. I love to read blogs and in the last three months i have been doing cross stitch covers for many things. I had started them long back 🙂 I am reading as usual but I have started listening to books in Audibles. it is a wonderful experience and I can do my cross stitch work while listening to a story. The paining and the quotation is wonderful. Take care.
