Was chatting with my friend Chie and she greeted me happy six months. Was so busy I didnβt remember today marks the six months of being stuck at home for most of us here in the Philippines.
I miss Chie and our regular (pre-COVID) lunch, movie dates, and afternoon coffee/tea. Iβve known her for 21 years now – she was one of my first friends from work. Three years ago, she gave me a one liner diary called A Sentence A Day – 3 Years. Itβs one of the things I look at each day as itβs quite refreshing reading through what I had in mind or what I was feeling in 2018, 2019, and comparing it with each day this 2020. Even when I travel, this little bookβs always in my luggage. I wish I can find this online as Iβd love to give something like this to my family and friends too, wherever they are in the world.
Just for fun I want to share with you todayβs (and the previous yearsβ) entries:
September 16: What was the last dessert you enjoyed?
2108: βI had refrigirator cake.β
2019: βI had dessert at the New York cruise with D and Pauline. I enjoyed it with tea!β
2020: βI had sylvannas from Dumaguete, delivered to me by Food Panda.β
Hope your dayβs as sweet as mine!
