I’ve binge watched Alice in Borderland on Netflix over the last few days and seeing the Shibuya crossing during the first episode made me miss Tokyo so much. And to add further to my longing, I found the Rurouni Kenshin The Final/The Beginning trailer on YouTube. These prompted me to look through photos we took through the years and I wanted to share with you two of my most favorite shots.

It’s been a rainy weekend, with Metro Manila temperature pleasantly cool at 24 degrees Celsius. I had lunch out with a friend earlier today and because of the weather we decided to check out Ramen Yushoken at Molito, Alabang. I have read good reviews about this restaurant, and they always had a queue whenever I passed it. I messaged them beforehand to book us a table but I was told they were still accepting guests on first come, first serve basis. When I got there, there was already a line and I was fifth in the waitlist and it took us 40 minutes to get seated.
Was the wait worth it? Definitely! As soon as my seafood ramen was served, I understood what the hype was about. I realize I’ve been missing out, skipping this restaurant all this time. They don’t do deliveries or takeout which is a bummer, but understandable. Luckily they’re just less than five kilometers away from home. I now have a go to place for my ramen cravings!
