Looks like work from home is going to be applicable in the foreseeable future, and so I am consciously trying to make an effort to adhere to the hard stop I set for myself Mondays through Fridays. I cringe internally when, after being in front of my laptop for meetings or just to get through deliverables, my step counter watch would buzz me letting me know I’ve been sitting for long.
So at 5 on the dot (I pat myself on the back as I’ve done it 3 out of 5 times this week – baby steps) I would hibernate my computer, get my face mask and faceshield on and head out for a walk.
What I like about walking through the neighborhood is I get to see things I’ve not given that much attention to before. And now I literally stop, admire and take my camera out hoping to capture the photos that I can revisit in the future to recall the peace and happiness I felt at the time I stopped to see them up close.

Lots of greenery everywhere! Hope you’re staying safe and still enjoying life!

Well done on the hard stop at 5. Three times this week, four times next week. I know the feeling, you think “just one more thing” but no, draw a line and walk away. I’m trying to do this too.

It’s a very conscious effort – the temptation to finish just one more quick email is always strong. I really hope I can have at least 21 days’ consecutive success in doing so. Good luck to both of us!
